Practice:
Ms. Woodcock’s practice is focused on two main areas. First, she counsels employers on wage and hour issues, disciplining and terminating employees, and compliance with Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FMLA, the FLSA, and other EEO laws. She trains managers in conducting investigations, avoiding litigation and writing policy manuals. She defends employers in actions brought in state and federal court and before administrative agencies brought by disgruntled and terminated employees.
Second, Ms. Woodcock also handles insurance coverage matters. She analyzes insurance policies, including: auto, commercial general, inland marine, excess coverage, oil and gas and environmental policies. She has a wealth of experience handling disputes involving bad faith, construction defect and declaratory judgments.
